DAY 2 OF THE QUEER CRAWL IN Hastings & Afton, Stillwater Suggested Stops

But first a recap of Day 2: After catching up on some household matters, we headed down to the Spiral Brewery in Hastings for the Tie Dye Your Pride Shirt event. There were already a bunch of people making shirts and so we received instructions, donned our gloves and got to work on our creations.

I am told that the event was so successful that they ran out of supplies and will be scheduling another event soon! Watch for updates because it was really fun and just look at what we created:

We next stopped at Muse2320 Fiber Co. to check out their beautiful space. They stock a large selection of yarn, roving and other fiber supplies and a large selection of interesting teas. Their beautiful community workspace is the perfect place to gather and make new friends or take a class.

We grabbed a quick snack at Current Restaurant at the historic Afton House Inn and sat outside on their lovely patio. It was another gorgeous day in the Saint Croix Valley.

Look under “Where to Crawl” to find the over 100 businesses and organizations participating broken out by area, and be sure to pick up your Queer Crawl button that provides you with discounts and special offers at participating stops.

Be sure to check out the “Festivals and Events” link for a calendar of upcoming events with times. There are so many fun things to do, you will definitely want to keep checking back as we continue to add new sites and events.

MONDAY’S FEATURED EVENTS AND SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES:
MONDAYS CAN BE CHALLENGING AS MANY BUSINESSES TAKE THE DAY OFF, BUT THERE’S ALWAYS FUN TO BE HAD – ESPECIALLY IN STILLWATER AS MANY OF THE SHOPS ARE OPEN BUT THE CROWDS ARE MUCH SMALLER. BUSINESSES THAT ARE FOR SURE OPEN TODAY:

My friend Julie and I had a blast making a project at AR Workshop – just walk in during their Craft Bar Walk-In hours and get to work!
