DAY 3 OF THE QUEER CRAWL IN Stillwater, Hudson Suggested Stops

As it was a Monday, Stillwater was the focus for Day 3 of the Queer Crawl because it has a large number of businesses that are open everyday. And as an added bonus: no crowds! Unfortunately, gardening duties kept me busy for longer than expected and I missed visiting Witch Jodie and stopping by American Gothic Antiques where – did you know? – they make an exception for trans people to use their private bathroom. So kind!

Arriving just before the storm hit, we enjoyed takeout from Lolito as we had our dogs with us. Found out they have a pet-friendly patio in back but it was packed. My salad was good but Phil’s burrito was divine (Smoked Pork Burrito with Avo-Tom (avocado tomatillo) salsa).

We made a quick stop at Candyland to drop off more buttons and get some of the red Swedish fish that Phil likes (and they had to go in back for – such nice service!).

Our next stop was at Matt’s Basement @mattsbasement, which is my happy place and if you Crawl with me, I will make you stop there every time. I could gush but I’ll let the pictures tell the story:

Swung by the Water Street Inn and Charlie’s Irish Bar to drop off some buttons for the staff. I will definitely be back to enjoy their lovely bar and deck – best view in Stillwater!
