June is Pride month and celebrations are held all across the United States. Pride events are an important part of the LGBTQ+ community, especially when the greater community shows support and engagement. The Twin Cities Pride festival draws over 500,000 visitors and is the second largest festival in Minnesota – second only to the Minnesota State Fair.

Hudson Pride held its first festival in 2023 on the Saturday before the Twin Cities events. The inaugural festival was a family-friendly, positive and affirming event that was supported by a broad cross section of the business, non-profit and faith communities and brought visibility to our growing community.

To complement the Hudson festival in 2024, we expanded Pride activities to include engagement throughout the St. Croix River valley from Franconia to Afton during the third week of June by hosting a “Queer Crawl” that directs visitors to local LGBTQ+ friendly businesses and events in the Saint Croix Valley region.

We are bringing back the Queer Crawl for 2025 and hoping to expand the number of participating businesses and events and would love to have your support and engagement in bringing visitors and visibility to Pride in River Falls and throughout the St. Croix valley. This is an incredible opportunity to work together as a region to showcase the outstanding businesses and organizations that make up our community.

Please join us for a week filled with fun, family, love and PRIDE!
